Black Aperture is an all-in-one news and reviews theme specifically catered to video games. It’s built for WP 2 .7+ and doesn’t require any plugins to run out of the box.

Main Features:

Unique featured posts showcase requires minimal effort to take advantage of.
Dynamic image resizing for various thumbnails used through-out the theme. Upload once, and see the image used all over in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Custom built theme settings panel within WP-Admin that allows you to customize the theme without editing any templates. Change the accent colour used in the nav and headings using a colour picker, switch from 3 columns to 2 by selecting a checkbox, construct the main navigation bar, and even manage ads.
Default 3 column layout can be changed to 2 (removes left sidebar) from WP-Admin.
Both sidebars are widgetized.
Custom widgets for the 3 main ad spots, along with a recent posts list.
Change the logo to plain text (which makes use of the Blog Title and Tagline settings) or replace it with your own image without touching any code.
Super lean markup and CSS , makes advanced customization a pleasure.
Tested on Windows and Mac – IE6 -8, Firefox 2 & 3, and Safari 3 & 4. Some details are toned down for older versions of IE, but nothing is broken.

YellowPress is a little bit different WordPress theme because this time users are supposed to create the content (add Posts).
This theme may run in 2 modes: Free and Paid.

Paid mode requires from user to pay for posting desired content. Payments are done via PayPal and the payment process is fully automatic. As an Admin you can decide how much would you like to charge and how long user’s Post will be active. Everything is done via theme’s options (WP Admin). If a certain Post is expired user have the option to renew it as well.

Free mode does not require payment in order to make user’s Post published. However, in order to prevent spam and non-suitable content Admin may limit the number of free entries per user straight from theme’s options panel. In Free mode users are not allowed to renew the Post nor delete it before expiration date.
In addition Admin may decide whether Posts become expired after certain period of time or ‘live’ forever. Expired posts (both free and paid) become archived and remain visible only in Archive of this theme. However, Home page and Category page do not display/list expired posts.

Each user willing to post something must be registered. That’s the rulle applied no matter the theme mode. After successfull registration each user gets personalized mini control panel used to manage his/her posts plus some extra cool stuff…

As you guess, the only thing you need to go with this theme is a good idea. People sell everything, people seek for lost pets, people do offer all kinds of services, etc. This theme is true Yellow Pages CMS . On top of that fact it runs on WordPress, can use widgets, plugins…
